English Journal Week 5-Perform
This week is the week to perform, we got a delay from ms.Sam because Aziz, and Clayton was absent. Ms.Sam gave us one more chance to rehearse, so we used it properly. On this last rehearsal we tried to act without the script, i substituted clayton as Tybalt and Friar Lawrence, we also tried to rehearse with our costume on. Yohanes still didn't know his lines, he had to read the script, Bryna remembered half of her lines, it was good, she also tried to put an expression on her act. Tio was very good, she remembered all her lines. We did several changes, Tio became the Friar Lawrence on ACT III and ACT IV and i became a Clayton became a capulet on the last scene. The next day, we performed our drama. We brought all the props, but the play itself was terrible. It was really really bad, first of all, Yohanes still didn't remember ALL of his lines, so he had to read through the script. Bryna had to read the script on some scenes. And me, i was confused on the party scene, i did remember all of my lines but Clayton line's order on the first scene was so random, so i had to brought the script to him and re-read the lines. Theresa was ok, except for the Friar Lawrence. When we finished our play, we felt disappoint. Then the next next day, ms.Sam gave me the score, i got five, and she said that i wasn't speak clearly, and also she said that i didn't remember all of my lines. The team work for me i have to say it was terrible.We could make our play perfect, but everyone were not join together as one, i tried to help them, but some of my team mate didn't listen to me. And for the time that has been given, i think i used my time properly, the only problem is on the teamwork. I think that's all of my rant. Thank you

English Journal Week 4
This week, is our last chance to get the things done. So our team's script was fixed, so we printed the script and started to act and read (not only read). Clayton fitted with his character which are Tybalt, and Friar Lawrence. He read his line clearly and he also used an expression on it. And me, i was the Capulet and Prince, at first it was so hard to fit in with my character which was Capulet, because Capulet has to be like bossy and irritable but wise, and the problem of my other character (Prince) was the line, it was so long and the language was hard, so i decided to remember the Capulet lines first. Here's my line and Clayton's:
TYBALT
This, by his voice, should be a Montague.
Fetch me my rapier, boy. What dares the slave?
Now, by the stock and honour of my kin,
To strike him dead, I hold it not a sin.
CAPULET
Why, how now, kinsman! wherefore storm you so?
TYBALT
Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe,
A villain that is hither come in spite,
To scorn at our solemnity this night.
CAPULET
Young Romeo is it?
TYBALT
'Tis he, that villain Romeo.
CAPULET
Content thee, gentle coz, let him alone;
He bears him like a portly gentleman;
And, to say truth, Verona brags of him
To be a virtuous and well-govern'd youth:
TYBALT
It fits, when such a villain is a guest:
I'll not endure him.
CAPULET
He shall be endured:
You'll not endure him! God shall mend my soul!
You'll make a mutiny among my guests!
TYBALT
Why, uncle, 'tis a shame.
CAPULET
Go to, go to;
You are a saucy boy: is't so, indeed?
Be quiet, or--
I'll make you quiet.
TYBALT
I will withdraw: but this intrusion shall
Now seeming sweet convert to bitter gall.
The story is like, so we sit on the chair (me and clayton), clayton heard a noise that is familiar, and he wants to catch the owner of the noise (romeo). But then i forbid him to catch romeo, Clayton and me then had an argument and in the end of the argument i say "Be quiet, or I'll make you quiet. " And then he succumbs and went out.
This is a picture of us rehearsing our play:
Romeo, which was Yohanes also had improvised from his last act, he showed an expression on the lines he said, also he put some actions like when he wanted to marry Juliet (balcony scene). But on the other scene he still didn't know what to do.
Bryna was good, he reads her lines clearly, but she still didn't know what to do with the expression. She just need to put more expression, and remember her lines.
Tio was very good, she knows where to put the expression, where to push the voice on line, and she also a good narrator, she just need to remember her lines.
The last thing is the setting, the setting was good, party-balcony-Friat Lawrence's house, we know what props that we are going to use, but the only problem is... the transition when we change the setting, it was hard, because everyone was like lazy to put the props in and away. I think that was all the things that we've done this week. Thank you

Reflection On Weeks 1-5
During the past 5 weeks I have created 2 tasks on my topic about The impact of bike in Jakarta.
First I researched using the net and found an article that provided background information to help my understanding of the issues related to my topic.
With this information I created a summary on the topic and posted this on my blog page. This helped my understanding and provided me with more information to move to the next stage on Blooms.
During the "comprehension" stage I created my second task, which was, recorded a voice of me, reading an article that related to my topic to show the audience my understanding of the topic. We were asked to record our summaries as a video and embed the file into our blog page to demonstrate our oral language skills and ability to master intonation and expression. I found this difficult to do at first but i was able to do it and i was pleased with the final product.
Now i am preparing for the next stage of Blooms "Application" and I and deciding how I will design my next task that could include: an interview, a simulation, a presentation using IT tools and illustration.
It's time for me now to plan my next task so please check my blog on Friday and post a comment.

English Journal Week 3
Okay, i've been busy this week, sorry for the late update. So yesterday , we had already decided the costume and the weapon (fix), we also tried to read the script for the second time, it wasn't good too, same like the first rehearsal because everyone was still laughing when they were reading their lines. Me, myself was the capulet, and paris, i think my voice was clear, and i did read the lines clearly but to be honest i need to put expressions to the line. Oyeah, the total time yesterday was 17:11 , not too far from the first rehearsal hahaha. And also yesterday, we had decided the music that we are going to use. This is the list of the music:
(I was the one who choose all of that old music lol, old music ftw)
And then the things that we did today was, Bryna had cut the script from 2800 to like 2035, we did the third rehearsal (Everybody was still laughing), and then we already had discussed some actions that fit with the scene. And ummm... we also started to remembering our lines.

English Journal Week 2 pt.2

Today all of us (Yohanes, Bibil, Clayton, Bryna and Tio) had finished on summarizing their script, miss Sam helped me on summarizing the script, miss Sam cut my script from 1000 words to like 800 words, here's the print-screened picture of my finish work:

Yeah, and we also wrote list of the properties that we need, like the costume, and the weapon etc. But we haven't finish it. The costume that we'll use are:
For the students : SWA Uniforms
For the teacher : Teacher Uniform
For party scene: Halloween Costume
For the parents (Montague&Capulet) : Formal clothes
For Mercutio: Messy Clothe
(remember we haven't finish the list yet)

And the last one, today we have read our script one by one and calculate the time, Everyone did a great job, but i think Yohanes should read faster (it's okay Yohanes, this was our first rehearsal :D) here's the list of our reading time:

This article is talking about Car Free day events in Jakarta, which are dominated by participants riding bikes. Every Sunday morning, in Jakarta, the government holds an event, which is called Car Free day. It is an event where cars and motorbikes are not allowed to pass through some roads. This event is located on Jalan Thamrin, and Sudirman, in Central Jakarta and runs from 6 am until 12 pm.
This Car Free day event has been very successful in attracting people’s attention and participation. Now that the government has succeeded in doing this event in Jalan Thamrin and Sudirman, some other roads in South Jakarta are also closed for Car Free days. Last month JL.HR Rasuna also did the same thing, and they held a car free day.
The article said that this event (Car Free day) is now spreading to another city like Bandung. People take advantage of this event as an opportunity for exercising, hanging out with others from the bicycle community, or merely sight seeing around the city without having the hassle of congested traffic.

English Journal Week 2
Monday, April 25th 2011.
Today i summarized those sentences in scene II ACT II, which was the balcony scene it was quiet difficult for me because i didn't understand the language, it's an old language, and sometimes i had to search some words on some website such as yahoo answer , Because the translator didn't know the word. And the result.... for me it was unsatisfactory. Because even though it has been summarized but it is still long, 3 minutes seem not enough for like 1600-1700 words.

English Journal Week 1

Today we've done some of the important things. We chose the scene that we'd like to perform later, from ACT I we took Scene V which is the Party scene, from ACT II, we took scene II which is the balcony scene <--- i have to write the script from this scene :) . ACT III, we chose scene 1 and scene 3 which are the fight between Tybalt, Mercutio, Romeo & The discussion between Romeo and Friar Lawrence about Romeo's banishment. From ACT IV, we took scene 1 and scene 3 again which are when Juliet meets with the Friar and asks him to help her . He suggests her to drink poison, and Juliet drinks the poison. And then last one, ACT V we took scene 3 where Romeo fights Paris, finds Juliet & swallows the poison. Juliet kills herself with a dragger. Also, today, clayton told us (me & Yohanes) to do "rock,paper, scissor" to determine which one is going to be the Romeo, and then i won! :D ahahaha, yohanes seemed mad because of it. And then the last one we made a brainstorm about the whole story, i took a photo of it, here's the photo: We have decided that the setting is in our school :D

Blooms Taxonomy
As we commence this new Unit of Inquiry it is important that you have an understanding of Blooms Taxonomy. Simply put Blooms Taxonomy is a way for the sorting and grouping of different levels of learning. All learning starts at the lower levels of knowledge and understanding. We then progress to higher order thinking skills such as comparing and contrasting, making graphs etc to show how we can apply our understanding of new knowledge. To help with your understanding of Blooms I have created the activity below based on the book “Of mice and men”. Please complete this activity and post in your blog.

I think George is a heroic character because he had to spend his life taking care of Lennie, and he always conceal lennie’s fault.

First, George and Lennie left their town and moved to another town for a job. They got a job in the ranch. In the ranch, they met new friends and peoples. One day, Lennie killed the wife of the boss’s son. And because George didn’t want lennie to get suffer, he shot him.

I chose the situation when Lennie killed the boss’s son wife. If I were Lennie I should have to control my emotion more (even if I were a mentally disabled person) I mean, I shouldn’t get panic easily.

Evolution Pics
hellooooo! now i would like to show you some of my "evolution of my jean" pics, but before that, let me tell you short story between me and my jean. So here we are, I bought my first pair of dry jean in a store named urban outfitters, July, on London, here's the website Urban Outfitters, with special price! the store reduced the price from £80 to £45 :D, but my waist doesn't fit with the size, i think i bought the wrong size -,-. The brand is Nudie Jeans, from sweden, Click here if you want to check up the web, my jean type is Slim Jim Dry Broken Twill. I almost wear it everyday, i wear it to my school also, there are so many memories that i can't forget such as the chewing gum that fell into my jean on the 1st month and i just can't let it fully go from my jean( you still can see the mark of the chewing gum on the thigh area until now) and when i went cycling from bintaro-bsd, the saddle of the bike gives a mark near on the *sorry* butt area, or when the rain dampen my jean, i just can't tell all of the memories. So now can we just move on to the pics? hehe:

First Post!
Hello guysss, my name is bibil, this is my first post on my blog.
I was born in Jakarta, 21th of August 1995
And now im a tenth grader in Sinarmas World Academy
My hobbies are hangout with my friends, Socializing with twitter, facebook and a lot more.
I have an interest in Math, Dry Jeans and Sneakers/Shoes
